VENUE

Conference Venue

We are pleased to announce that Dynamics Days Europe 2026 (DDE 2026) will be held at two emblematic venues of NOVA University Lisbon, both located on the Campolide campus, just a 2-minute walk from each other: the Rectorate of NOVA University Lisbon and the Colégio Almada Negreiros.

The Rectorate of NOVA, situated near the iconic Praça de Espanha, is a modern building recognized for its outstanding architectural value. It was awarded the prestigious Valmor Prize in 2002 and offers state-of-the-art facilities and an inspiring atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for scientific sessions, discussions, and networking.

The Colégio Almada Negreiros, in contrast, is a historic building with a rich past. Originally known as the Colégio dos Jesuítas, it was gradually constructed in the second half of the 19th century under the administration of the Society of Jesus. Later, it served as the headquarters of the Batalhão de Caçadores 5, a military unit that occupied the building until the 1970s. Today, it has been fully integrated into NOVA University and offers a unique blend of historical character and academic functionality, perfectly suited for hosting conference sessions and workshops.

Both venues benefit from a central location in Lisbon, with excellent access to public transportation, and are surrounded by a wide variety of hotels, restaurants, and cultural attractions. The city’s blend of historical charm and contemporary energy provides the perfect backdrop for a memorable and enriching scientific event.

Stay tuned for further updates regarding the conference program, registration details, and travel information.

We look forward to welcoming you to Lisbon for DDE 2026 — an inspiring and vibrant scientific gathering!

Why Lisbon?

If you’re dreaming about your next trip to Europe, come and discover Lisbon, a historical city full of stories to tell, where the sun shines 290 days a year and the temperature rarely drops below 15ºC. A city where you feel safe wandering around day or night, where the cuisine is dedicated to creating over a thousand ways to cook the beloved bacalhau (salted cod), and where you’ll find hotels and restaurants to suit every taste, budget and requirement. Discover Lisbon, a city full of authenticity where old customs and ancient history intermix with cultural entertainment and hi-tech innovation. Lisbon is ageless, but it loves company, as you’ll find out if you meet someone and ask them to explain, with lots of gestures and repetition, where the best place is to listen to Fado. After all, Lisbon is famous for its hospitality and the family-like way it welcomes visitors.
